On Tuesday 16 May 2017, Essex & Herts Air Ambulance visited the Year 12 assembly to speak about the charity and inform students and staff of some key facts relating to the services that they offer.
It currently costs £500,000 a month to run this valuable service, so fundraising is crucial in order to maintain this support system for the public. There is a base in Earls Colne where members of the public are allowed to visit, the only site like this in the country. The two members of staff that were visiting were available for questions after the presentation. We look forward to welcoming them back to Braintree Sixth Form in the future.
