On Tuesday 9 May NCS visited Year 12 students during their assembly slot to advertise the NCS summer challenge.
This involves being away for 10 days and participating in a four week programme that has three phases: adventure, skills and action. Students would have the chance to visit an activity centre in Ashford as well as stay on site at Essex University. Students had the chance to complete an expression of interest form today following an explanation of the skills that can be gained from completing such a challenge, including skills for work and life, the chance to meet new people as well as an additional experience to add to their CVs or UCAS applications.
Good luck to those that decide to take on this challenge this summer.
