    The Sixth Form Day

Students at sixth form are expected to take responsibility for themselves and their learning and to make productive use of directed study time. The sixth form centre is open before and after school hours so that students can arrive early or stay later if they wish to use the facilities to study.

Year 12 students stay on site for most of the first term. After this point, if they are coping well with their studies, students who do not have timetabled lessons can choose whether to study on site, to go to the cafe or common room or study at home from break time onwards. All students who are not in lessons during period 1 and 2 are expected to undertake quiet study in one of the three study zones.
