All applications to British universities (except for some nursing courses, some art foundation courses and particular music courses) are processed by the University and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). This organisation acts as an intermediary between applicants and universities and the majority of communications between applicants and universities will be via UCAS. All of our pupils will apply online at www.ucas.com
You will receive guidance on how to register and complete the various sections of the UCAS form during the UCAS launch day in June. Filling in the form can be time-consuming and needs to checked very carefully. Do not expect to complete it in one session.
You should also check the 'Entry Profiles' for your course. These are available on www.ucas.com via course search. You should also check the course and university web pages.
Some courses and universities will require you to take an admissions test. You must check this information on UCAS and on the university website and then speak with Mrs Arthur to arrange this.

Universities may also ask you to complete additional documents (such as an additional personal statement or a book review). This is particularly the case for very competitive courses. It is important that you check your e-mails and UCAS Track regularly once your application is sent.
