The sixth form will be having a dress down day on Friday 3 February 2017 to raise money for Hope House, a homeless shelter charity based in Braintree. The money raised for Hope House is in remembrance of Emilia Kordaszewska, a Year 7 student at Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form.
I am sure that you are aware of the tragic circumstances that occurred before Christmas whereby Emilia and her mother, Alina, lost their lives in a house fire. During her time at Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form, Emilia was an active member of the lunchtime group, Action Equality. She was a student who was committed to making the society she lived in fairer for all and it is with this in mind that we are donating to Hope House.
