Students must ensure that they are fully equipped for these exams and that they arrive on time. Students must also ensure that they are preparing for these exams and utilising the wide range of revision tools and resources that are available to them.
From Monday 23 January 2017 to Thursday 26 January 2017 inclusive, lessons for Year 13 will be suspended to allow students to prepare and revise for the exams. Although there will be some exams on Friday 27 January 2017, lessons will be running as normal and it is expected that if your son or daughter does not have an exam on that day that they should attend their usual timetabled lessons. In addition, if your son or daughter has an exam in the morning of Friday 27 January 2017, they should then return to lessons once it is completed.
Those exams that are highlighted in green are for Year 12 students only. Please also note that there will not be exams for all subjects for Year 12 students and that there are no IB exams for Year 12 students during this assessment week. Exams will only take place in subjects that have final AS exams in the summer of Year 12. Lessons will continue as normal for Year 12 over the course of the assessment week. Therefore when students do not have an exam they are expected to be in their normal lessons.
We wish students the best of luck in their preparation for assessment week and hope that students find this a useful experience in preparing for their final exams in the summer term.
