Year 12 students were developing their organisational, team working and communication skills by setting up their own small businesses with the aim of raising funds for the Sixth Form chosen charity “Education for All”.

The projects involved students in market research, putting together business and financial plans and branding and advertising their products and services.

Companies included a shoe shining service, pizza delivery, pop up Shakespeare performances and a CV writing service.   “iBSF” sold phone cases and accessories, and other companies marketed pick and mix sweets, milkshakes, smoothies, pancakes, friendship bracelets and personalised badges.

The company raising the most money was the “Temptations” biscuit and cake company.  In total the Year 12 companies made over £300 in profits which will be donated to “Education for All”.
