Year 12’s Enterprise Project culminated in a very successful Enterprise Fair attended by Sixth Form students, staff and Year 8.
Stalls included foods such as chocolate brownies, fudge and Pick and Mix and a variety of milk shakes and soft drinks. One of the most successful Enterprises was Ms Newell and Ms Ward’s tutor group (12T), selling friendship bracelets, which made over £125 in profit, all of which was donated to charity. The project enabled Year 12 students to gain an insight into entrepreneurial skills required for running their own businesses, setting up a business plan, costing and producing their products, advertising and marketing and managing their finances to ensure profitability. In all over £300 was raised for charity.
