In 2014 98% of our Higher education applicants secured university places, 84% secured their first choice.
Year 12 students began their university application process with a Higher Education Launch Day. Interactive workshop sessions run by BSF staff and staff from the University of Essex and Anglia Ruskin University included student finance, writing a personal statement and student life.
In addition to this, the Anglia Ruskin Road Show bus was on site, allowing students to access a range of relevant resources and hosted by Anglis ambassador and former BSF student Thea Maragkakis (currently studying a BA in Childhood Studies). Thea was delighted to return to BSF for the day and share her experience with the new cohort of students. The Bus had also been available for parents on the previous day. Students will also be attending the UCAS Higher Education Super Fair, hosted by Anglia Ruskin University next week.
