Notley High School & Braintree Sixth Form are proud to have recently become a Stonewall School. Stonewall is Europe’s largest LGBT organisation and they have spent more than 30 years working towards a world where all children and young people have access to an LGBT inclusive education
As a Stonewall School, our staff are able to participate in online training opportunities to ensure the school is celebrating diversity and challenging bullying. School leaders are currently working towards attaining the Bronze School Champion Award. This is proving a useful task, allowing staff to benchmark the school’s LGBT inclusion against the latest best practice, ensuring that we are leading the way in celebrating diversity and supporting LGBT young people.
