Braintree Sixth Form students showed their support for International Women’s Day today.

The campaign is asking people to actively call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping each time they see it and to show their solidarity for the #BreakTheBias campaign by crossing their arms. The students have also been discussing which women they are inspired by; some names that have come up are Greta Thunberg, for her work on climate change and promoting positive awareness of Asperger’s Syndrome and Millie Bobby Brown, the actress who was the youngest person ever to be selected as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
