On Thursday 15 June 2017, Year 12 students visited the University of Essex for the Higher Education Convention that was taking place.

There were a range of subject seminars that students could attend as well as the chance to visit the different lecture theatres where representatives from different universities around the country were based. Each of the stalls were able to offer details of open days as well as copies of their prospectus, and representatives were available to answer any questions that students had. Students also had the chance to tour around the University of Essex and have a taste of university life.
