Year 12 IB students spent the first week of June in the Cevennes National Park, France. The student’s base was the brilliant Eagle’s Nest field centre, which is situated at an altitude of 1300m.  The centre provided them with a variety of activities to complete as well as a constant supply of excellent food.

Geography students gathered data for their internal assessments and all students successfully completed their group four science projects.  The group also completed several activities as part of their creativity, action, service (CAS) programme.  These included rafting, high ropes and hiking to the summit of Mount Lozere for action; pointing, painting and broom cutting for service and problem solving activities for creativity.

Everyone involved in the trip succeeded in developing new skills and all had a fantastic week!
