Braintree Sixth Form are once again celebrating an excellent set of results. We wish all of our students the very best of luck as they go forward from Braintree Sixth Form.
Braintree Sixth Form are once again celebrating an excellent set of results in both the International Baccalaureate (IB) and A levels. The average point score for the IB was 34 points, well above the international average, while over 43% of A levels were awarded A* - B grades. This is testament to the hard work of the students and the staff, as well as to the support students have received from their parents and carers.
Many of our students are now looking forward to taking up places at university, both locally and further afield. Jessica Eaton-Fearne who achieved 37 points in the IB is going to Sheffield to do Ecology and Conservation Biology. Thomas Everard achieved A*A*AA, including A* in EPQ, and has a place at Bath University to read Mathematics. Jack Gill will also be studying Mathematics, with an industrial placement, at Bath after being awarded A*A*A. Grace Fitzgerald will be reading Geography at Nottingham University after achieving AAB at A level. Three students will be studying at Exeter University next year with Sophie Kulik reading English (37 points in the IB), Amy Lazell reading Law (AAB at A Level) and Katie Molyneaux reading History (36 points in the IB). Adam Goddard-Parker achieved AABB and will be studying Politics at Kent University. Ella Hedges was awarded A*A*AB, including A* in EPQ, and will read History at the University of East Anglia. Harriet Mill hopes to become a Primary Teacher and will study Primary Education at Winchester University after achieving AABB at A level. Ellie Moss-Prout achieved A*ABB, including A* in EPQ, and will read Sociology at Warwick University. Ricky Poole achieved A*AAB, including A in EPQ, and hopes to start his degree at Southampton University in the Autumn. Ashley Ross was awarded 35 points in the IB and will study International Business and Marketing at Leeds University.
We congratulate our students in achieving excellent grades and wish them the very best of luck as they go forward from Braintree Sixth Form.
