The 16 to 19 tuition fund is, ringed fenced for schools, colleges and other 16-19 providers to support small group tuition for students in English, Mathematics and other courses where learning has been disrupted due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Braintree Sixth Form is eligible to receive a sum from this fund for small group tuition. Braintree Sixth Form will use this funding to support learners who did not achieve Grades 4 or above in GCSE English or Mathematics. Tuition will take place in groups of no more than five students and will be prioritised for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) or those who are classified as disadvantaged students. It will also be used to support subject specific intervention for small group work for Year 13 A level students.
